The horizon bleeds.
red water flows,
as the being in the sky,
Dies,
like a Phoenix to be
Reborn,
on the Other Side

Alone In A Cafe
Red wine and crackers, death in a cup, an ironic display of affection. Little boy, sitting alone in a cafe, people, watching, he looks at everyone, looking at how they act. The noise, the people, a waiter being asked to take a picture, his awkward smile. He hates his job. The girl sits across, ice cream in her hands. She puts her bag on an empty chair and takes a scoop from her little ice cream cup. The Korean behind her, looking at her camera's pictures, like all Asians would, all vain, only posting photographs of themselves that look nice, or at least make them look like something they're not, on social networking sites. Everyone using their laptops, Toshiba, Dell, Macbooks, HP, iPads, iPhones, Blackberries, any object to access the free wireless internet connection. Touchscreens, hands-off displays, chargers, cellphones, social networking, lives non existent created in their own heads. The newspapers, rubber necking, camera whores, when will anyone ever learn? Gossip, other people's pain bringing people pleasure, they only want to see, or hear, misfortune to make themselves feel better about their situations. Hedonistic Bastards, when will any of them realize how worthless they really are.
